I am 4th grade teacher, which means I have little time to read nine months out of the year, but I still squeeze in a couple books a month, and more during the summer.
I spend most of my free time in movie theaters, book stores, and libraries. When I am not grading papers, I am usually found curled up with a good fiction book, watching Grey's Anataomy, training for a 5k, or thinking up ways to better myself. I love powerful (and semi-sappy) female authors, and my favorites are Alice Hoffman, Jacquelyn Mitchard, Billie Letts, and Jodi Picoult. My favorite movies are Stand By Me and Ghost World (but this seems to change often). My favorite television shows are Grey's Anatomy, Entourage, The Biggest Loser, and Six Feet Under. I love The Beatles and Led Zeppelin, and my favorite word is "indeed". I love people who make me laugh and take me out for a good breakfast.
