Listen, you giant, I blame you for my sleepless nights and the fact my laundry baskets are overflowing with clothes. I'm too busy reading The Change series to do laundry.
How do you find so much time to read? I know you have a cram packed daily life. I try to squeeze it in, but find I don't get much done. I've resigned myself to reading in the restroom, but if the books good I find that my legs go numb and I can't walk. So do I sacrifice the ability to walk for literacy or literacy for the ability to walk? See how confusing this all is????
Hello! I noticed that you are a Shelfari member who lives in the DC area. Unfortunately, for whatever reason, a lot of the groups for DC residents don't appear to be very active, whaich is a shame because I'd like very much to connect with other DC-area book lovers. What I'd like to do is start a new DC group on Shelfari. It doesn't have to be a traditional "book group" where we choose a book and then read it. I'd like it to be more like a bulletin board that focuses on the rich DC book culture, where we can post upcoming events or talk about a book that's making waves around town or recommend different DC bookstores. However, before I start such a group, I'm trying to make sure that there is enough interest, and the group doesn't become just another inactive group on the pile. So I'm contacting members of these other groups and anyone who mentions that they live in the DC area to see if they'd be interested in taking part. You don't have to promise that you'll post every day; but I would ask that if you know something going on that others in the group would like to know about, you mention it in the group. Please contact me by Wednesday either way--if you are interested or not interested. If I get enough people who mention that they are interested, I will contact you about the group starting up so that you can join it.Thanks so much! Hope to hear from you soon!Meghan
Wowzers! That is amazing. I wish I read that fast. Maybe I'd be through with all the Shakespeare I have to read if I was that fast.I miss mass transit. I wrote some of best poems there.
Thanks to you and my friend Magdalena I have so many books on my "I plan to read" shelf that I'll never get done! LOL
Wow you read so fast I can't keep up!
Happy Santamas to you too! I'm not the only one dreading the holiday, am I?
Thanks for the friend invite!

I loved Christopher Rice's books, I was worried he'd be like his mother in her later years, so I was pleasantly surprised.
I love seeing what you're reading or what you enjoy reading. I can discover so many new books this way.
