Good question. You know it is just at different times in my life. My Grisham years were when I first started teaching and needed some mindless reading to help me escape from the terrors of the classroom (I eventually got over it!). My Sparks reads have been from some book clubs and I can't think of any other excuse. Sometimes I just pick up what I know will be a fast, mindless read because that's what I need at that time. But, honestly, I don't think I could ever pick up a Sparks again. That is just too low. I just started Love in the Time of Cholera. Should I stick with it?
