The air is cool, the season fall,
Soon Halloween will come to all.
The spooks are after things to do
In fact, a spook brought this to you.
The treat that came in encrypted code
Is yours to keep so enjoy it all.
“BOO”K is a shield from the witching hour
Just replace your personal icon
With a “BOO” or “BOO”K for power.
The power comes when friends like you
Who will copy this and make it TWO.
Then others here among our friends
Will give warm fuzzy reads that are sure to end.
We’ll all have smiles upon our faces
Because we will know who “BOO”Ked
On our personal web spaces.
Just one short day to work your spell or ghouls and goblins will drag you to hell.
And don’t forget the electronic treat
That someone can turn into something SWEET!
Please join the fun, let’s really hear it
And spread some “BOO”Ks and Halloween spirit.
Hello, Old Spice. Read anything good lately?
I am reading "Bright-Sided" by Barbara Ehrenreich. I saw her on the Daily Show months ago but I didn't want to read it because she came across as a really grumpy and dissatisfied. But it has turned out to be really interesting. I am also reading "The Closing of the American Mind" by Allan Bloom, a classic work about American education and "Slavery By Another Name" by Douglas A. Blackmon. I have a bunch of reading to do, because I went to Goodwill and bought a lot of books that I have to read. I finished one: "The Culture of Fear" by Barry Glassner.
Anyway, what are you reading?
