    Almost 26 years ago, this title kindled my studies of the dharma. Conze's translations still convey to me the need to be-here-now.

    A lavish document that does as much as a book can possibly do to convey the power of this place. Borobudur is one of the most extraordinary sites in the history of Buddhism to which I have traveled. I added this book to my collection so that I could understand more of what I had seen. For the last eight years, I've browsed through this volume at least a few times a year.
