Thanks for the add, Jacq. I'm a member of the BM forum in LT too, though I'm not active in the forum.

Happy weekend of reading to you.

Hi jacq, welcome to Play Book Tag! Each month, a random group member chooses a tag from the top 200 Shelfari tags - August's tag is inspirational. When you read a book that is tagged inspirational (or even just a book you think fits the tag, we're flexible) post a short review on the discussion thread entitled August tag: our collective reads for our shelf. From there, the book will be placed on the PBT shelf and hopefully discussion will ensue!

I was wondering what you thought of Bitten. I heard that it is really good and it was recommended to me by another Twilight fan. Have you read the Morrigan's Cross Trilogy by Nora Roberts? I thought it was a good trilogy and they have a vampire/sci-fi theme!

    See you on PBT!

    Happy reading,
    Nicole

It sucks having to sacrifice other activities so you can focus on others. I feel guilty all the time and I don't even use spoons to work!

I reckon share the spoon theory then, especially if it makes you feel better too.

I'm at CYN. I saw you there :) but there isn't much activity there (the place is almost a ghost town) so I can keep up with them really easily seeing as I only have to log in every few weeks.

    Thanks dude :)

Yeah I know where you're coming from. I'm forum nuts at the moment and only have enough spoons to be on BB's and WOW on a regular basis. All the other sites have become ones I visit every so often or just to update like on here when I finish a book.

Problem is I've had to cut down on other sites like dA :( and facebook but facebook doesn't worry me anyway!

    Hey Jacq,

I'm going to be removing that blue buttefly group. Seemed like a great idea at the time but I can't remember what idea it was I had. It's bugging the crap out of me.
I'm still keeping the shelf itself (under Blue Butterfly on my friends list) though because then there is a shelf for the forum.

If you get any book ideas could you let me know? You're like the FM well of info person for the forum even though you're never on there. Do you feel special?

I have no concept of time when I'm reading a good book I forget to eat or sleep and I look at the clock and I'm like "IT'S WHAT TIME!" LOL. I guess if you wouldn't have time to read it wouldn't be so bad not having money to buy new books.... i don't know is that flawed logic? I usually remember to eat at some point though because i get a bad headache from the low blood sugar

No worries I do the double click by accident too frequently lol

Well hmmmm..... how good is your library? I think most full time 8 hour a day jobs are more than 8 hour a day jobs i think that is the nature of the beast... I am addicted to the computer but usually my need for sleep wins out over my need to be on the computer.... although when I'm online chatting with friends i can get lost in it an forget to go to bed lol... and it is fun hanging out with you in cyberspace lol

Dear Jacq: At least you don't have the Asian Flu. Archaeology has always been an interest of mine, and so I have written a novel about it. I think you'd like the main character Molly O'Dwyer. She's in-your-face with a mysterious past, and she's about to go on the adventure of a lifetime. The novel is HUNTING THE KING. It's coming out next week. So, I hope you'll take a moment and take a look. Here are the details:
HUNTING THE KING is a fast-paced page-turner that follows archaeologist Molly O'Dwyer into war torn Iraq in search of the remains of Jesus. ForeWord Magazine says: "Fans of intellectual thrillers and historical fiction will find a worthy new voice in Clenott. His best invention may be Molly O’Dwyer, a genuinely likeable heroine who more than holds her own in a man’s world. An ambitious scientist, she is also an observant Catholic whose heart and mind don’t always agree. Given such an auspicious start, the sequel can't come too soon."

While the book isn't available until April, you can find it on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Kunati Books and other googleable sites.
To get a good sense of how exciting the novel is check out the heartpounding trailer for the book at http://www.kunati.books/hunting-the-king-peter-clenott/. Or you can view it on YouTube or my web site at www.peterclenott.com. Let me know what you think. Thanks. And get better fast!

Yeah it sucks you can't add books manually. I read in the help section that they are contemplating bringing that in because there have been some requests for it. Which is good because I've got some that aren't in the database as well. All the ones that aren't on Amazon won't be there... Hope they introduce it soon. That and image uploading. So many covers missing! Especially of old books that I have like Little Tiger, Get Well Soon! lol
