You have a great bookshelf. I am sending you a friendship request.
I was trying to find your review on Stavros book on Third World History. It was the first book I studied in history, I felt it was a good basis to find out about the third world.Sheila

Hello, obsessedbybooks I am requesting your friendship.
Hi! Old friend, here!I was just wondering what you think of Karen Armstrong as a nonfiction writer about history and religion. I see we both have read Islam: A Brief History. What did you think of it?Another shalfari member saw I was reading it and wrote to me to be careful as she is NOT a scholar. Hopefully, he meant that she is not a scholar of the Quran, not in the history of religions; but I'm not at all sure what he meant. I am quite fond of her writing and have certainly never questioned her research. Do you have an opinion you would share?
The February group read in the Dean Koontz group will be "The Husband". I hope you will be able to join us. Also, the voting is up now for our March read. Please stop by and cast your vote!
I have "The Alienist", if you have an account with PaperBackSwap, I'd be happy to send it to you. =)
You make my shelf look empty

Great shelf. I am sending you a friend request since I am also obsessed by books and we have 94 books in common (even some rather uncommon ones like Maus)! Exploring your shelf I came accross books that I will add to my "want to read" list. Happy New Year!
This is just a reminder to let you know that we will be reading and discussing "The Darkest Evening of the Year" in January in The Dean Koontz group. We hope you can join us!
Merry Christmas. Hope you had a great day.
Hi. You're shelf is quite impressive! I've looked over a fourth of them and found out I had more books I read before that I did not place on my shelf. I see that you have diverse interests too. I'm more of the novel reading type and as contrary to one of Borges' characters, imagine myself, always, a character in all of them :) I hope we can be friends and exchange ideas about books.
Hello again dear OBB,I just read a lot of the comments . Your shelf IS impressive and enviable . But my question is not your SHELF but YOUR SELF!!! . I can see you floating and taken by a magic out of your control .It's not a comment .just expressing me feelings . I'm there with you.soheila n
Hello dear OBB,I was wondering about the strange feeling I felt when i saw YOU through your books. I don't know if you're male or female ( seems you don't want us to know it ) but i feel a strong urge to get to know you in person. You definintely live in the united states , and that's too far for me . What do you find in the books you read and plan to read ? what is your feelings for the books ? I strongly feel there is something in you for me that has not been there in anybody else before . If you are willing to help me find the clue to this strange feeling of attraction, please let me know. I'm waiting ....soheila n
