“It's such a pitty there are few people who read Maghrebian literature. This is a very beautiful book, it's full of mistery and the idea itself is surprising and not only beacause it's inspired by a real case, but beacause it's told by seven different story tellers, reminding about One Thousand and One Nights. When you think you've reached the true, everything gets blurry again, and the second part of the dyptich, The Sacred Night, gives a poetic ending to all the sufferings of the main character... a woman that is not a woman, nor a man... Just a soul.”
