“Hmmmm...well I guess I will say I was a bit disappointed after all the hype. I think it may have been the style of writing,...”
“I am a little embarrassed to say that I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Starting in the 12th century and ending in present day...”

OK - it's time to get your computer wiz of a husband to help you to add a picture to your profile!!hehee ;-)
I just finished 'Invention' at 6:30 this morning - pretty sweet and an amazing man. I'd have finished at 6:30 last night except I'm at Dad's and we spend 4 hours on the internet digging up stuff on Niko, including a great UTube item. After a little o/p surgery this morning we may be off to the library for some NF, bio, on this guy. Thoroughly enjoyed this book, as much (or more) for the inspiration to learn more as for the story part itself. Can't wait to see what everyone else thinks!
Keep meaning to ask you about that Diving Bell book. Looks good.
I am going to get a sample of Monsters of Florence on my Kindle. Otherwise known as TMOF. It looked good. I'll let you know. Did you get the next book for bookclub? I ordered it last night. I started Summer of Pearls by Mike Blakely. I can't put it down.
Carly do you have A Town Called Alice. I want you to read that same author On the Beach. Loved to borrow if you have it.
Kaeli I recently finished fine balance. It was really, really good.
I really want to read a fine balance, but don't think I can take any more Indian quite yet. How about the Zookeeper's Wife?I'd love to borrow that.
I love borrowing ideas from your I Plan to Read shelf! Looks like a serious summer reading program for you.
howdy sis
Hey - we need to get you a picture! Glad you liked the bio - I'm reading a book Sandy lent me last week, Cumberland Island - Strong Women, Wild Horses, non-fic (I said Sandy, right?) but quite interesting. About one of those little off the coast of Georgia islands, the Carnegies, the Kennedy-Bessett wedding, the conflict between the preservationists and the developers.
Okay dearie, now you need to join a group. Say, Book Nerds Kerrville? Marg has set up our 'Books We've Read' shelf . . . and our 'Books We're Reading' shelf. Hopefully we can come up with a better name, eh?
what do you think?
