I am a husband to a beautiful wife, and father of two wonderful daughters. I am the pastor of the Chapel of Hope, Evangelical Methodist Church in Blacklick PA. I have been there since August 2007. I was raised in a Christian home - my dad is a pastor in Illinois.
I attended college at the Faith Mission Bible College in Edinburgh, Scotland. It's an international, interdenominational college that stresses both personal holiness and getting out and working what you're learning in the classroom. The time is intense, but still great.
I spent a few years in Tennessee as a youth pastor, then moved to Indiana to be an Assistant Pastor. Now I'm here, and that's about it!
I come from a big family (eight kids), and enjoy spending time with my own, and I love being a pastor. I thank God for His call on my life, and the way He has used even me in the work of His Kingdom.
Obviously I love to read. I read a bit of fiction, my favorite authors being Tolkien, Lewis, Peretti, Flynn, Koontz and Grisham. I also like John Eldredge, John Maxwell, Andrew Murray and A. W. Tozer. In my favorites I've tried to put my favorite by these authors, as well as some other books I've enjoyed and gotten a lot out of.
