If there was one place I might have to be confined to at some point in my life, please let it be the Smithsonian with every book written at hand and a high speed internet access computer that will stay on forever and 5 levels of stairs (for exercise) and a garden.

It is fun, and I haven't even put up all of what's in my library. I have belonged to several book clubs for years, and generally buy anything new by any of my favorite authors! Here lately, more and more of my reading has been of books that add to my spiritual growth! That is also fun and exciting!

    hey thanks for the recommendation!
As for the India part, I am an Indian living in India and 'm sick and tired of the west seeing us as the land of spirituality and snake charmers et al (no offence) because it's misrepresented and there's so much more here...
But I think I'm going to read the book still!
    Thanks again :)
    p.s. great shelf!

Yeah I dont know about 50 a year. Thats a little over 4 a month, and my max for the books I like is about 3 a month. PLus its hard for me to decide what I want to read, and that delays me even more. I dont think I would make it!

She I mostly identified with allison especially when she came back in the end. I kind of knew that the suicide was not real. The reason I didnt care for how the author brought it all together in the end was because it was like two different stories or even three in one. The adventure and mistery in the first half of the book was incredible and exciting. Then Conchis or the author brough this twist into there little game and that was Allison. I saw no need for this. Then in the end when it turns out that lilly rose and the rest are really just rich people a little bored with real life and needed to do something outside the lines of normality to keep them excited, hence the god game. Really a cruel and mean thing to do to a person and if we didnt know what and how Nicko had acted in his real life we wouldnt be able to handle how he was treated. I mean in the begining you think they are giving him an expierence and life lesson but in the end they were just entertaining themselves. PLus and I think this is what would have happened I hope Allison didnt take him back. She should never have. He is the kind of person that just wants what he cant have, which he proved through the entire novel. Once he has her he will be content for a while then probably start thinking Lily was really in love with him! I would have liked the story much more if Allison hadnt been involved in the end or If she would have been part of the greek story from the begining. Thanks again for recommending it, it was a great read!
