    WATER FOR ELEPHANTS is so different than the Joe Hill, Stephen King type of novels. . .
    I notice that we share some similar tastes, so, I'm gonna ask you if you've read any of the Repairman Jack novels by F. Paul Wilson. They're my obsession right now, and I'm trying to read them in order.
    Tomorrow is the release date of the new Dean Koontz "Brother Odd" novel - I'll be picking it up even though I haven't caught up with BROTHER ODD yet.
    I heartily recommend F Paul Wilson's novels to anyone with a liking for mystery and suspense (with a little fantasy/horror thrown in for good measure).

    I finished it in a few sittings; quite compelling, quite haunting and most surprisingly, quite well written. It's right up there with WATER FOR ELEPHANTS as for favorite books I've read this year.
