Welcome to the group based on the book 1001 Books You Must Read Before You Die. There is a general explanation of the group under the discussion thread GROUP GUIDELINES. The books of the month (BOTM) that the group is reading are pinned to the top. May BOTM are; 1. Choke by Palahniuk, Chuck2. Dr. Zhivago by Boris Pasternak3. Titus Groan by Mervyn Peake4. Works of Poe We are also starting something new. It will be a Long Read consisting of books from the list that are greater than a 1000 pages. The group will be starting with War and Peace by Tolstoy. I actually did not like Oliver's story as much as I liked Love Story... I felt it was boring and a let down.
I liked him a lot, really special writer and poet
