I see you have The Turtle Warrior on your shelf. That is one of my all-time favorite books. Since you were kind enough to make a recommendation for me to read, I'd like to return the favor. This one was suggested to me by a fellow BTS member and it was so good I actually bought a personal copy. Try - Makes me wanna holler: a young black man in America by Nathan McCall, and let me know what you think.

    Greetings Green Man,
Thank you for the friendship invitation! Books have always been my best friends; they never failed me.

What are you reading right now? I'm still plowing through The Whisperers about life in the USSR under Stalin. Shocking living conditiions and a realm of terror!!!! Every page is a revelation of man's inhumanity to man. But, every page also shows how resilient the human spirit can be. So many of those people survived and made the best of their lives, putting family first and finding joy wherever they could - acceptance of the things they could not change, just as in the serenity prayer. My next read will be Krushchev Remembers.

    Keep in touch!
