Not much to say except I'm a grandfather of 18, I'm a Viet Nam vet I have 3 kids and 3 ex-daughter in-laws and 1 son-in-law and 3 possible ex son-in-laws from my oldest daughter who only contacts me when she wants something. I spent some time in work release of which I don't talk about. I trusted someone that I shouldn't have. My fault for...more »

I bought this book to check out a statement Obama supposed to have made in it. The satement was twisted out of shape. He didn't say it. The iference might be there but he did not sayit. I'm not even sure that there is an inference even. Its on page 261. anyway I thought the book as a whole was very boring. I doubt I will ever read another book by a politican again.

I do not let others tell me what to read. When the pope told everyone not to read this book most everyone I know went out and bought it to read it. When someone tells the world especially advid readers the first thing most do is go out and get the book to find out what it is all about. If the pope hadn't said anything the book might have gone over so well. When I go to church and the paster or some in high authority says not to get a book or go see a movie the first thing I do is go get the book or go to the movie. The idea is that know one should tell us what to read or we will go and get it anyway.

This book is quite funny. The adventures of Jack who goes to the big city basically to find his fortune and the adventures he has there. There is wild drinking, gratuitous sex, violence and all around funny situations.

This book kept me on the edge. It was non-stop on the edge of my chair wondering what will happen next, will she get caught, hoping she will get away type of thing. I have found few books that kept me on the edge through the whole book.

Most people I know liked this book. I'm not sure about my feelings since I get the feeling that I'm am being told what I have to do. I think Rick Warren would get more out of people if he made it a guide line or get the impression that he is ordering us what to do.

I throughly enjoyed this book. The movie was to short and more could have been put into it from the book.

I personally liked Queen of the damned, the movie did not do it any justice. The movie was actualy to short for what was in the book. There was a number of story lines through out the story.

I didn't like this story as much as some of anne rices other books, but goes with the witches part of her books so it should be read.

As for the book I, Robot the original is different from the modern version that we see in the movie version and the new book version. One of the other books that goes along with this version is the Caves Of Steel. The orginal book is more a question of humanity. The newer version is for movie goers the action adventure type. Big difference. When I saw the movie I was confused, but then I realized the difference in layout was for the movies.
They also did a music version Called "The Alan Parsons Projet I Robot".
Based on Isaac Asimov's book. It was made between Dec 1976 and march 1977.
