hey!We still have time for you to come over!!maybe on the very last day of summer you and angie can go swimmin!!!! XD
I've heard the show is killer. I'm glad you're excited :) You'll be having some hardcore lessons in time management this year! Were you guys actually told that Mr. R. was let go, or did everyone just figure out that we were gone when we didn't show up?
I will if you're here ;D
I think I may have posted the following on my own notes board accidentally:"Two of my tomato stakes went down in the storm, I think, but my veggies have been thriving this week. I will have tomatoes out the ears, and I think my lettuce is going to make it. I even have a pepper plant hiding in there with a little pepper on it, and my eggplants have sprouted purple flowers! The rain at FR that occurred Tuesday into Wednesday caused the camp roads to be closed until Friday morning. Mr. R. and I were told to walk all our stuff up to a campsite, but we set up camp at our car and slept in the car. It worked out ok, actually. This year was THE worst for weather.I definitely want to read _The Book Thief_... stop by at the beginning of the year and drop anything off :)I guess the news didn't get around as quickly as I had hoped - Mr. Risell was let go from the band staff, and circumstances forced me to resign as a result. I am unbelievably bummed, but it was the best thing for us. I know that you guys are in good hands with the rest of the staff, and I still have nothing but effusive praise for the program."
Uh.... yeah. Speaking of rain. That torrential downpour? Definitely took out the concession tent (while we were in it), the performers' merch tent, the staff food tent, and canceled the rest of today's events. But, yeah, we had fun :) I'm sorry everything got messed up for you. No wonder I didn't see you around!
My best guess would be to email Mrs. Shirk, since I gave back any extra copies I had. However, the guidance office, I'm sure, has them too.Are you headed up Wednesday? You have 4-day camping tix too, right?People we know we are going to see: The Nields (duh), Crooked Still, Gandalf Murphy, The Strangelings, Dar, EFO. I think the schedule was posted online earlier this week if you want to see it.Food I highly recommend: falafel, cookie bars from... the place with the big white and purple sign, potato pancakes, spinach quesadillas
sounds good! You should read a great and terrible beauty. it was really good....you could borrow it if you wanted to
ahh i had never heard of one, must have been interesting.
