If you are looking for some light summer reading, I'd say yes. The book was a bit sappy, but the story was moving and to me it was real and brought back feelings of long long ago.

Yes, if you like a bit of romance and self growth and introspection it is a well
    written and reads very well.

Link didn't seem to work in response to your question about Mermaid Chair. Gosh, I think I liked it. But, having read quite a few other books since then, I can recall it only vaguely.

OK, if you are on team Jacob then I'm not sure we can still be friends!! LOL! Just kidding. I think you are right, I don't think it will go your way. I am totally obsessing--I don't exactly know why--maybe because it's been so long since I've been able to just devour a set of books--since before kids!

    Hi,

Thanks for your answer on my question about The Time Traveler's Wife. I actually stopped reading it because the beginning was so though to read and I had other books to read. But if you say it's a good book, I will give it another try.

    Keep on reading!
    Greetings, Monique

P.S. I just found out that there's also a movie from this book.
