    Hi Hassan,
    Welcome to Arizona. We have a bunch of book groups and events here at the Glendale Public Library. I personally facilitate an group ( The Kitabu Reading Loom) dedicated to literature by and about peoples of the African Diaspora. We meet the 3rd Tuesday of the month ( January-October) at the Main Glendale Public Library
    ( 5959 West Brown; Brown is one block South of Peoria) at 7pm. We read both nonfiction and fiction ( across a wide array of genres).

    I've not lived in SC in 2 decades, but I still have family in the area. Moved to Greenville for work, military? It's a growing city and very affordable. I hope you like and find a home there!
