I didn't want to read this because I didn't really like The Heart of the Matter, but this book was way, way better. Loved the whole thing from start to finish and was truly engaged and drawn to the characters. It would be fun to see what happens to these characters in another story.

Interesting and quick read. The interest for me was in the author's life and the way the story was discovered, but I was truly astonished at how fresh her voice is, even though this was written in the 1940 s.

3.5 Stars--I liked this for the most part. I was pretty intrigued by the plot and I didn't really predict the ending, so that was good. Some of the ending was a little too melodramatic for me, but overall, this was an entertaining read.

This was pretty good. My first of the series. I'm curious to see how the series starts out, but Aimee seems like a fun detective to follow. I got a little confused sometimes on who was who and some other details. Maybe not the most engaging of stories, but still pretty good.

An intense page-turner. Some things seemed a little unrealistic, butnoverall, this was a good read.

Awesome! Not a huge fan of the last few pages, but not terrible. Otherwise, great story.
