Holly

I am 21 years old and I love to read. But who doesn't on this website? I don't have much time to leisurely read during the school year but I read a new book almost every day or two during the summer.

  • The Ancient One

    The Ancient One says

    "Thank You, God,
    Not just for life,
But for our journey through life.
    Life is a miracle,
    And a journey through life
Is so full of so many more miracles
If we travel with our Heartsongs.
    Thank You, God,
    For blessing me with the
    Gift of Heartsongs,
So that I can enjoy my miracles."

    Hey.

I also read the Piers Anthony books from On a Pale Horse to And Eternity. I too liked them. A book similar to them is the Heirs of a Broken Land series. The first one is Princess of Light. The series is by Marie Bilodeau who does storytelling gigs part time so she is fairly good at weaving a story.

    Ciao!

Dear Holly: I have another book for you that will grab you from the outset and keep you hooked until the end. It's called HUNTING THE KING. It's mine, so I am biased. But it's still worth a look. The story revolves around a charismatic young woman named Molly O’Dwyer. Molly was five years old when she witnessed her mother's death in a fire. She never knew her father. After her mother's death, she was raised on the campus of a Jesuit college in Boston. Now an archaeologist, she is recruited to participate on a dig in war torn Iraq. As a scientist she is compelled to know who or what is buried under the sands of ancient Babylon. As a loyal Catholic, she is scared that what she finds may have devastating consequences for her faith. There is an awesome YouTube book trailer well worth watching to give you an idea of the power of the book. If you get the chance, I hope you'll take the time to watch it and let me know your feelings. Thanks. Peter
