    So, I guess you noticed I finally got my books into shelfari, but my ratings and notes didn't transfer- it's a S L O W work in progress. Did you read a lot of Cynthia Voigt books too? I couldn't get enough of them- esp. On Fortune's Wheel and of course I read all of the Tillerman books. I even chose her in 5th grade as my author to write a letter to, but she never wrote me back:(

    I'm curious what you didn't like about Twilight. It wasn't one of my favorites either, mostly because Meyer seems to buy into all of those annoying teenage myths: "I love you so much, we can do stupid risky things and manage not to get into trouble," "Everyone is the same, but YOU are so special and different that the rules don't apply to you the same way," etc. I think her depiction of puberty was too realistic - not something I really liked remembering. I guess my personality just didn't fit with the whole Bella/Edward romance, because when Jacob becomes a thing in the next books, I liked him a lot better. You?
