The Kite Runner

“Moving and gut wrenching story about two boys raised in Afghanistan and the guilt that follows from one not defending a friend in the event of a graphic and cruel attack. This story really made an impression on me and showed a little bit about Middle Eastern culture that I was unfamiliar with. It ended with a positive which was difficult given the situation and how bad the circumstances were.”
