I'm still in the middle of Traveling Mercies, but I'm really interested in hearing what you think of it if you get the chance to read it! Thanks for sharing Shelfari... I was on it a couple years ago with students, but that's very different :-)
have you read Marley and Me yet?
Why don't they have a "I plan to watch the movie" button? So kidding, someday in my spare time I will read my little tail off and catch up.
Hey, I am beginning to add to my book list. I have a whole bunch that I am about 1/4 of the way through. Perhaps I should take up reading as a hobby, it could prove to be more lucrative than watching people (as one looks at one of those puzzles...or rubix cube). I am open to suggestions and may even read something you suggest...well 1/4 of it anyway.
Sara! This site is cool, read takes away from time that could be better spent watching Star Trek. Thanks for the suggestion of the leanard Nimoy book. -Mevans
Haha, so true. But now there are three boys and there are two very different sets of distractions!! PS- I have to agree with Twanya that Calvin and Hobbes should be put on our shelves. There have been many truths learned from them!
I'd say your book choices have a lot deeper theme than mine :)
Would it be frowned upon to put all of Calvin and Hobbes comic books and all the self help books (I only read 1/4 way through). Then I will put the other books I read (childhood trauma). Perhaps if I read some of your books I could be brilliant too! My recommendation is "The Giving Tree" because thats what its all about!!
Sarah! you know I can't read! but of the books you selected, I like the pictures in "the art of war".of mice and men, really? you're such a tool. LOL. miss ya! thanks for thinking of me
OK - I take it back! I clearly don't know how Shelfari works - when I first looked, nothing. Now I see the vast eclecticism I'd expect of you :)
Hi Sarah - your bookshelf is a little underwhelming. What's up?
