The author, a firefighter saw a need for change with so many overweight and unhealthy friends in his field. Hebrings some very interesting information to us in this his second book. He covers scientific research facts that show perhaps our present modern dietetic facts we are all fed aren't all true. He also covers many of the popular diets and why he feels they are not as healthy as directed by general thinking. Do we really need all that dairy, meat and oil to be healthy ? What about in the bedroom ? Will giving up all the protein mess with your love life ? He goes into that, and clears the worry from your mind. There is even a "How to win an argument with a meat eater" chapter. This chapter alone might make many of us change our diets when faced with the truth. You only have one body, and he wants you to take care of it.
Oh boy, get ready for some good eats. The recipes are fabulous and there are over 100 of them. They look amazing and gives you a great variety so your diet doesn't get stale. My teenage daughters already have a list ready to make for the week ahead.
I read book 1 and got a lot of information from it this one has even more to offer. I have seen friends health do complete turn arounds on this diet. To me it seems common sense when you read the fact which eating way is best for the human body. What we are doing now doesn't seem to be working, people are more overweight, have more health issues and need more medical intervention. Perhaps we can reverse that with just a few changes. Why not try ?

Did you attend a traditional school ? Was your creativity doused by math, english and following the program ? Do you even know what your passion is, or where your talents lie ? I really didn't have any idea when I picked this book up. I can do a little of everything and don't really know where my true talents really are. Jack of all trades master at none, that is what I was taught a little of everything. Was it the public school systems fault that I lack focus ? Who knows, but he gives a very interesting argument.
In this book he helps you focus on "the element' where the things you are good and what you love to do come into clear view. There are some steps to follow to help you form your talents into focus. I wish there had been more of these. He gets you started in the direction you need to go it's up to you to keep the momentum.

Most of the book deals with the educational system. The standardized test systems, the lack of arts programs, and one size fits all thinking of education. I would love to see every teacher, parent any one in education read this and expand their views. I learned that my talents, my element is one of the areas I put off the most. I'll be working on that in the future.

3.5 stars One of those comfy enjoyable series reads-
It all starts with a vampire priest, an un-neutered dog, and one stressed out Kitty. Kitty is stressed, she is experiencing the joys of Alphahood. Her pack needs her, wants her advice, her time, her guidance, her protection. (sounds like motherhood doesn't it ?) Her pack is not the only stress. Her human family, her job, the master of the city, they all want a pice of her. Yeah, she is on the edge of ARGUH ! Ben, her rock, her love, the calming balm she needs may be all that holds her together.
New forces some to town and cause some problems for the fragile community. A wolf, strong, arrogant and with a compelling story bags to join the pack. A vampire priest who has come to offer Rick a dream from his past. Both bring trouble and damage to both vampire and wold communities. A friendship forged will be tested. There are major changes.
I enjoy the love between Ben and kitty. It is so pure, complete and unquestioning. Watching them deal with the world together, united, no matter what keeps me glues to the series even more than the ruckus going on around them. They have grown so much as a couple and you really see it in this book. This was a nice easy relaxed read with some tense moments and some heartbreaking scenes. One character left and I hope to see them in the next book.

I am not a familiar with the game but I am a fan of beautiful artwork. Yoshitaka Amano, brings his characters to life with amazing detail vidid colors and very emotional drawings. The creations are so magnificent I found myself just staring at the pictures trying to take in all the little details. He brings out the actions of his creations so completely you can see the movement in every muscle, cloth, hair.
A must have for fans of this game and a wonderful coffee table book for artwork fans. There are endless conversations to be had while looking through this.

It's a very quick and simple outline of what you need to do. There are many steps within the steps but it really cut right to the important matters. Then there's the two hour reading time, bIg bonus.
