OK, so I'm a librarian, and reading books kind of goes with the territory. Having not been a particularly 'bookish' child I've now found that the more widely I read, the more books I come across that I want to read... consequently the 'to be read' pile gets bigger all the time!

I have actually read all of the "Outlander" books twice! So, I am a huge fan. Gabaldon does such an excellent job with her characters that you feel like you know them. And who doesn't have the hots for Jamie anyway?

Hi Sue - Thanks for posting the note about The Book Thief on the history-fiction group. To be honest, I'm pretty disappointed at the lack of participation. It was no small feat to choose the books and then have everybody vote - oh well... I wouldn't have read The Book Thief otherwise either.

    What are you reading now?

Hi Sue. I just joined yesterday as well. :o)
My First Philippa Gregory book was "The Other Boleyn Girl", was my first and favorite. It's part of a trilogy sort of. With the "Queens Fool" and "The Virgins Lover".
