My name is Lance. I'm a Christ follower. I'm also a middle-aged middle-management middle-class middle-American. I'm happily married to my high school sweetheart and I'm a father of three (one in high school and two in college). I'm involved with Boy Scouts and community theatre. My guilty pleasure is sci-fi, particularly Battlestar Galactica, though I do like Star Trek and to a lesser degree Star Wars. My real passion, however, is theology.
My day job involves technical writing and teaching for a manufacturing company in So. Indiana. In the distant past I was a reactor operator on a nuclear submarine, a college electronics and math instructor, professional audio specialist, and even a taxi driver. Though I have written dozens of product manuals, I just published my first "real" book, a bible study titled "Ask James one."
Thanks for taking time to visit my humble site. I also run a daily blog at www.xanga.com/fkiprofessor. Feel free to browse my book shelf. The list of books I own or have read cover a wide variety of topics including a number of things I read to be aware rather than because I agree with. My personal theological beliefs are based on the whole bible.
