I just wanted to welcome you to the Movie Lovers group. Hope to see you as an active participant in the group; it's always nice to hear new voices! Just an FYI, if your interested...the group movie for this month is "Ballad of a Soldier" and next month's movie is "The Pawnbroker". We also have a recurring thread each month "Movies that we watched in 'month'" - please feel free to post what you've watched on the small and big screen and your rating.
Have a wonderful day!
Hi there! I guess it depends. I think that Kandinsky has some really fascinating theories about the inner spirit of the artist, but I think since he's an artist himself, it comes off a bit egotistical. ;) I wouldn't say it's my favorite book about art theory, but it's fairly thought-provoking. And it's a very quick read-I think it's only about 30 pages. So, it's not a large investment of your time. So, go for it! :) And thanks for asking!
