Hi All !!
My name is Dianne and I am a follower of Jesus Christ, a 40 year old woman, a wife for 13 years, a homemaker, a home educator- (come this fall.....we are very excited to get started on this new journey :) , and a blessed mother of 3. I live in Biloxi Mississippi with my sons and husband. I try to live my life as an example to others, and bring positivity into the world, there is WAY too much negativity !! My mother and father are my role models, and I am proud to say that. I want to raise my children the way my parents raised me.
I am an avid reader, ( Books make me SO happy !!! ), a movie watcher, a lover of music, animals, cooking, meteorology, astronomy, all sorts of things. As a family, at this moment in our lives, we are trying to make some changes for the better... the older I get, the more I think about what I want to leave behind for my children. We are slowly transistioning into the "eco-friendly" lifestyle... I have been reading about it, and it makes sense. We are destroying our earth... What does this mean for my little boys ?? We need to take some steps to preserve this planet God gave us.
What else am I passionate about?? Alot !!! I am a FIRM believer in Jesus Christ... (go to www.freegift.net)and will talk to anyone about Him. I am so thankful that He died for me, as well as all of you !! In my spare time, which is rare..... just because I am a stay at home mommy, doesn't mean I don't stay busy !!! I run a page on Myspace for my Homeschool as well as my Anti-pornography page. I am VERY, very strongly opposed to pornography and stand firm in the fight against child molestors/pedophiles. (The internet is running rampant with these sickos) I am also an active particpant in an online community that helps women that have gone through rape. If you have suffered at the hands of a man, PLEASE do not hesitate to go to www.RAINN.org. They will help you get through this, they can and will make a difference in your life. All you have to do, is lean on someone, and let them help you. Don't keep it inside, it will make you sick. Grab the hand that is trying to help you, no matter how painful you may think it will turn out. There is healing from rape. Trust me when I say this. I am still in the healing process and will probably be forever, people need to understand, you cannot just "get over it" , but you can have some healing in your life. Always remember... "Tough times don't always last, but tough people do ! " :)
