    First off, it's great writing and solid psychological mystery set in post-WWI. Secondly, I MET WINSPEAR! It was totally cool and very unexpected (at Third Place Books), and she couldn't have been nicer. So I am a true fan now.

    Funny, I've been meaning to read my 1st Richard Morgan - debating if I should start w/ Altered Carbon or 13. But at any rate... I'm not much help for finding similar to something I haven't read.

    But just go read Anathem. That ought to keep you busy for a while :-)
