At the moment, I'm married, with no kids, & living in Frisco - and trying to make time for reading in between 2 jobs. I'll read just about anything - but like to mainly read stuff that isn't on the bestsellers list and I *really* like getting recommendations. Sometimes it takes me awhile to get around to reading the books people suggest, but I... more »

Hi CH! Yes, A Fraction of the Whole was SUCH a good book. I enjoyed every single page of it and never wanted it to end. It is a very original book. It has often been compared to A Confederacy of Dunces but I wasn't too crazy about that book when I read it a few years ago. I would highly recommend Stones from the River by Ursula Hegi. I look forward to looking at your shelf and getting some ideas. =)

Yeah C H you will be busy reading. Read the Black Dagger books before Anita Blake. Anita is great but the Brothers are out of this world. Enjoy.

Hi CH, when you start reading the Black Dagger Brotherhood books, you will be amazed at how addicting they are. I can't stay away from my computer because I love interacting with all the other die-hard Brother readers. I don't know if I mentioned that the Lords of the Underworld series by Gena Showalter is very good too. Century old warriors cursed with demons inside their bodies and some sexy hot guys they are. I love to read and am constantly looking for new paranormal romances.

Hi C H, glad to be friends. I like all sorts a books, especially vampires, werewolves, shapeshifters, and paranormal romances, etc. etc. lol. Have you read any if the Anita Blake (by Laurell K. Hamilton) books? Very good but very erotic thoughts and scenes. I have read all the Sookie books and was really disapointed in the #9 Dead and Gone. I am all hyped up on a series called The Black Dagger Brotherhood (huge beautiful warrior vampires) by J. R. Ward. And that is probably why I didn't really like Dead and Gone because I can't get those Brother books out of my mind. You should read them asap..You will be addicted too. There is also An Insider's Guide to the books and it covers alot of information. There is a forum Board so that we (Cellies is our correct name) post all types of questions, music, to the Brothers (helrens -husband), their Shellens (wives).
