I clicked on members like you under community and saw that we had some books in common. 24 in fact, but then some of the books on your shelf looked interesting so I added them on my plan to read shelf so now we have 29 in common. But anyway, I was going to suggest Annie Between the States. I really liked it and since we seem to have pretty similar interests, I thought you might like it too.

    Hello,
    yes she is my absolute favourite. Try also "Missing mum", "Black water", "The Falls", "Black girl-white girl". But almost anything from her enormous production is really good. if you like her you got a lot of books to choose from.
