Louis XIV said, "I see no point in reading." But perhaps Adi Shankacharya put it better, "There's no point in reading the scriptures if you are not self-realized and if you are self-realized, there is no point in reading the scriptures." I'd say that an important element of any journey is the discretion to recognize that you've arrived. « less
