Thanks for accepting my friend invite. It looks like we have a lot of books in common, but enough variation to keep it interesting. I've already added some books from your shelf to my TBR list.

I know that my personal description is short - but yours is shorter! I just wasn't sure how much to write; people have such a range of information listed. Some members put in so much detail!

I don't think that I want to share that much information about myself in an open forum. Answering questions is fine, but I didn't feel the need to announce much beyond my reading preferences to start with.

    Hey Kate,
I hope you are well. Life has been screaming by this summer for me so I haven't
been around much. Which group were you referring to? I must have missed that
part. Did the Shopaholic book ever make it to you? I hope it didn't get lost.

    Hi Kate,
Thanks for the offer! Very sweet of you. I just checked and I do have Nature Girl in my tbr pile. I was able to get quite a few of his through PBS and the used book store. Thank you for thinking of me and I hope all is well. I just got back from vacation so I'll see you at the Nest. :D

    Hi there,
It seems forever since we have communicated. My bad. You are always good at that. I was out of town for awhile and then work has me slammed.
Thanks for the compliment on my shelves. The tags were easy and I had fun. It's great to see all the books together. lol
    Hope you have been well.

    Hey, Kate!
Thanks for having a look about the chicklit. I thought perhaps I didn't own any, but I'll check out your list as well as C's to be sure. Also the group. Thanks, babe! :)

    Hi there,
I tried to leave note about Ayn Rand at the Next but Yuku was going kuku! lol So I'm putting it here for you.
You had asked about which book to read and talked about how weird she came aross on Donahue.
Hmm that is interesting. I know she does have a different philisophy but I don't really recall religion coming into it. Maybe it did and since I'm not a super religious person, I didn't notice? Anthem is a very short novel about us being individuals. It takes place in the future and gives some idea of life without the power of love and individuality and one man's attempt to regain it. Maybe try this one and see if you like her style.

Both The Fountainhead and Atlas Shrugged are very large novels but the stories swept me up and carried me away.

Kate! I'm sorry to hear that you are feeling under the weather. I think colds are the worst too because they certainly hang on for way too long.
I didn't know that you liked frogs! Yet another thing in common besides our books. :D

BTW: 102 is not a bad number!
I don't know how you decide what to put on your shelves but mine reflect ones that I actually have on my shelves now. I'm also starting to add books I've read off of my daughter's shelves (starting today).

Welcome and thanks for joining us at the Paranormal Mystery group. Please feel free to browse the shelves and discussions. Add any pertinent books and/or discussions as you see fit. Our main goals are to steal reading ideas off of each other, compare notes, and try to separate the paranormal mysteries from the glut of other paranormal stories out there.

BTW: We have 57 books in common :)
