Melissa, I would like you to recommend some of your books for me to read. I have added some I think sound interesting. Send me an email with a few you think I might like. Would you be a dear?

I loved it! The mystery was all sorts of twisty. The audible narrator is excellent, she really brings the characters to life.

I really loved Hood, especially the setting twist Lawhead put on it--he places it in Wales and there is a lot of Celtic mythology bound up in the story.

I was really surprised at how much I liked Hood by Stephen Lawhead. I'm only minimally interested in Fantasy reads but I think this book goes beyond that and Lawhead is such a talented storyteller that I connected with it anyway. I was hoping for a bit more romance (but that's just because I'm a hopeless romantic myself) but I was taken away with the story so much that I didn't mind. I don't think it will be a favorite for you, but pick it up, it'll be enjoyable.

I read Lorna Doone when I was about 15 years old, it made me think of Romeo and Juliet, but I remember really liking it and later I watched the movie which was also good.

It was a little slow in the beginning but it got really interesting toward the middle.

"Gentlemen and Players" you say? I liked that I didn't guess what happened at the end. In that way it was a good mystery. There was alot of swearing, no sex but its talked about somewhat. Interesting. But a lot of swearing. It is about a boys school in England and the psyco killer that wants revenge on it.
