Hi there! I'm just dropping by to welcome you to The 100+ Book Challenge. The idea of the group is pretty much self explanatory - try to read 100 or more books in a one year period. If you do have any questions, please feel free to send a message to me or Tenia. In the meantime, good luck reaching your goal!
Thank you for accepting my friend request.
(*Mel hangs head in shame*)Point well taken! I AM here much too often!!! Again, it's one of my sweet addictions. I'm glad you pull titles/books from my shelf; that's the fun part!! Don't spill anything though!!! If I get too much info. about a book I don't even crack it open then for fear that all the good parts have been laid out for me already.I can admit, I thought when you sent me the link to this site I thought there'd be no way I'd use it..... Guess I was hugely wrong!!
Hard to say. It's definately "Mel" humor. It's a 34 year old guy who goes back to camp as a counselor of 11-13 year old boys. The guy has SUCH a sense of humor you can't help but chuckle. It's not much of a "thinker" book. It's just one that you'd read for pure entertainment. I have to say, after reading it, I'm looking forward to sending the boys to camp sometime. It's a rite of passage! There's this one part in the book, where he's reading in his bunk and a large nasty moth lands on the page.... I laughed out loud! Very funny!
Now don't be spillin' anything. I haven't gotten to that one yet. So many books - so little time! I'm lucky to read an hour a day...most days I'm not-so-lucky. :(I'm reading Cabin Pressure right now by Josh Wolk. SOOOO damn funny! It cracks me up!
