Hey Teen,I did look through the group's shelf and they had Stephanie Plum books and upon reflection they do kind of fall into chick lit or could be considered that, especially since the relationship has an on again off again feel to it some of the time. And the main character is kind of still in the process of growing up and learning how to take care of herself.Kate
Hey Justine,I wanted to add that I belong to a chick lit group here and if you click on my name and then my groups you can click onto the group and view what books they like. Thought it might give you a good idea of what others consider a chick lit book.Kate
Hi Teen,I looked at your shelf and don't see any other chick lit that jumps out at me. Chick lit that is obvious to me would be the red dress ink books. To me chick lit is romance lite. There is often men in them and empowerment but the men isn't always definitely going to turn out well. And the sex isn't as hot, lol. That's my take on it.Kate
Hi Teen,Yeah I think that Kate Collins is chick lit, but also lite mystery, so guess it falls into several categories.
I kept telling you all that my tbr pile was big but I don't think anyone really believed me. What can I say? I like books! I do have somewhat of a system what gets read when too. Yup! I try to keep it organized. LOL ......or not!
Hey Teen! Isn't amazing & also wild how many books we have read! I'm still working on my shelf so I have no idea how many books I'll end up with.
Hi!Thanks for joining our Paranormal Mystery group.Come browse the shelves and discussions. You are welcome to add pertinent items to either one of them.AmyBTW: I love to look and see what books I have in common with other Shelfari readers. Right now you and I have 60 books in common.
