I think I may have a world record with the plastic dry cleaning bags....27 for you tomorrow. These are only the ones that Randy let me take off the hanger. Apparently, he has a problem with not only dry cleaning, but also the bags that go over the clothes. Anyway...my donation is 27!

Hey Amy -- Thanks for inviting me to the site. I can't wait to learn more about it. I just read Sophie Kinsella "Remember Me?" It was a fun, quick read. Nothing like waking up after having amnesia for 3 years and having a totally different life. You should try it.
Did you like the Book Thief? I want to borrow it. After conferences this week of course. Goldie looks great by the way!~
You all are so funny with this site! How come no one has designed a Kipling group? Should I??
...and I'm proud to have you both! hope all is well for you... you've posted some great books... Yea reading!
Great books Amy...off to Key West. I guess I must bring a Hemingway, but which one? So hard to choose.
I have got to learn this website! It's awesome! Yes, I need to get my books on the shelf!
Hi Amy, you asked for a recommendation about "Animals in Translation," so I wanted to tell you it was an oddly fascinating, sometimes saddening and appalling read. It's non-fiction, written by a (mildly) autistic woman who works for the government; she inspects slaughterhouses to make sure the animals are treated humanely from start to finish. The book itself is mainly her insights about the way animals perceive the world; she classifies their behavior into predator and prey categories, and explains their reactions on this basis. It's not a sentimental subject. I found it interesting, but I don't know if I'd read it again. It's certainly worth reading at least once, if only to help understand critters in general.
Hi Amy. Thanks for inviting me. I think your book club reads the same books that mind does.
YIKES! I forgot ab out these Danielle Steele books!
This is addicting... I just realized I didn't rate my books... I have to go back... I also only got my books in one room... this could be a long process!!
I read Peony in Love over break. The same author as Snowflower and the SEcret Fan (Lisa See). I highly recommend it--I loved it!
What is on her head? Poor dog:) You better have given her a peanut butter ball for that!
