    Welcome back K! I'm glad to hear you had a relaxing vacation. Yeah, had my first granddaughter's christening last July 25. a nice addition to our family. So i can't read as long as i like on weekends because i get to watch over her ---but i'm enjoying it! My TBR is piling up and yet i can't quench my thirst for more books. In my picture is my husband and our third child who graduated last March. She's a high school teacher but right now she's working as a reviewer for international English language.

    I am happy to know that you're feeling better too! You're included in my prayers, K!

    Hello, K. We just had a christening of our first granddaughter last Sunday. Hmmm...i'm feeling a bit old these days. LOL. Okey have a nice time and do'nt forget to inform me once you're back, i want a detailed blow- by blow account of your vacation. LOL. I have not completed the Anita Blake series yet, jumping from one book to another, whichever is available. But i like it though sometimes, it seems hard core. Take care, K. Gonna miss you, friend.

    Hi K! Yes, I hope you're well too. Scarlett is my ultimate fave heroine ;)
    This is the 6th Temeraire book I've read. So far, it has not lived up to my expectation but I'm still halfway through, so it might get better. You should try to read the first one, then before you know it, you'd be reading the next and the next, etc :)

    I like Patterson's books because he really knows how to keep the hook in at the end of the chapters; I don't think there is another author that has 68 chapters in 300 pages with medium print and lots of space all around. They are so fast paced too which is great and the fact that he gives a hand to people that are good writers but not well known is a plus in my book {well, my way of thinking} - I've got to go to bed - I'm transposing letters...The wedding took place as did the honeymoon, followed by a week of his kids. Life is not dull around here...sometimes a little dull would be ok but don't want to voice that too loud and end up bored! Really got to go to bed - had to retype most of that last line and some before...later, Paula How are you holding up - any boredom in your life lately? I bet not...p;]
