This is (I think) my 1st grade picture.. I remember how much my mother hated trying to brush out my hair. How she got it so straight in this picture, I have no idea. But I do know I tried to tame that hair for 22 years. It was while I was in Germany that I threw out the (un)curlers & let it be. Ahhhhh.
