Hi Melissa, I just finished Ransom and really enjoyed it. I like the side story with Ramsey and Bridget the best. Thanks for letting me borrow it. At the end of the book there was a chapter from Mercy. You said you read it and it wasn't the best, but I found the few pages interesting. Do you own that one?
Melissa, did you get the copy of Secret back yet? I put it in Sarah's locker at work a while ago but now I feel responcible for it in case you didn't get it back. Let me know, I know a place that I can get a new one.
You needed a new copy anyway fo Ransom. Nothing like a fresh new book!

That's awesome about Tinker. You might like her other one A Brother's Price too. I actually really enjoyed Orphans of Chaos. I read it after I saw it on your shelf. It reminded me somewhat of A Wrinkle in Time. I also just finished Twilight by Stephenie Meyer. I loved it.
LOL Feel free to re-read! You read so fast anyway!
You are a fast reader! I think Whitney is her best, but it is fun to revisit characters in other books.I finished Secret yesterday and liked it a lot. Now I can't wait to read about the handsome Ramsey!
I hope you like Until You. In my opinion it is better then Meaning of Night. But don't let the others know I said that ;) I can wait for Ransom whenever you find it and whenever we get together again. Hopefully next week.
I don't know if I will see you all Thursday. Mark will be out of town. So maybe you should get to Meaning of Night first and I'll let you know when I'll join you guys again and let you borrow Until You and you can load me Ransome. I had to start reading Meaning of Night when they first suggested it. I knew it would take me a long time to get through it. Romance novels only take a few days, but Meaning will take me the whole two months, I think.
I'm glad you liked Whitney, My Love. The next book is Until You, which is the brother's story. I have that one if you would like to borrow it. I can drop it at BN Monday and Sarah can deliver it to you, or when we see each other again on a Thursday. Let me know. A Kingdom of Dreams is the Westmoreland's story set in the 1500s. You can read that one at any time. (I own that one as well.) Once and Always, Something Wonderful, Almost Heaven are set in the same period of Whitney and involves the same group of characters. You should read them in that order.I am almost finished with The Secret and am enjoying it very much. I think the two authors have a lot in common. Which one should I read next?
There is a new book out you might be interested in, Shakespeare's Wife by Germaine Greer. It is a bio and Entertainment Weekly gives it a B+.
The name of that book I was trying to remember is called Austenland. It was published in May 2007 so be looking for the paperback soon. You will love it!
Melissa, I didn't know you read the Diana Gabaldon books. Those are my all time favorite! We must discuss them soon!Nancy
I think you should read Tinker by Wen Spencer. It's set in Pgh, and while I usually think that's overly cute, it actually works. Plus, it's got a elves with a bit of a Japanese flavoring in there.
Love your avatar. What a cutie!Nancy
