  I officially adopted the puppy in my avatar on Monday. Thought I'd share my good news!

  I belong to a Shelfari group called Cook's Books where there is a monthly thread on what people are cooking. I tend to borrow more ideas than I contribute;-) and have added several new recipes to my repertoire. Several members of the group actually plan their menus a week at a time something I swear I'm going to start doing. You might want to check it out!

  You're cats a beauty! My little guy was one of 19 cats or kittens I fostered last summer and fall in my DH's woodworking shop. Gray kittens usually find homes quickly unlike black kittens so the one I kept was a black female that was still here after 6 months. In her eyes, she had a home and it was us so we bit the bullet and added her to our five.
  
  I plan to update my avatar soon to the puppy we're currently fostering.
