  • April R. Perkins

    April R. Perkins says

Synopsis: Have you ever considered what your life would be like without a soul? Would you even feel alive? The subconscious version of the mind would revert to the remaining survival instinct. When a young farm boy finds love unexpectedly, he does his best to protect her; a twist of tragedy entraps his life force as his body remains, blackmailed into service for his Oriana’s salvation.
Violent ends begin the cursed afterlife of the centurion who thrusts the final blow into Jesus Christ. The Archangel Gabriel becomes the ongoing catalyst as he creates events that bring about Armageddon. Fallen angels attempt to flout the missions of the Army of God. Raised on roman myths, the centurion's knowledge emphatically alters as he is thrown into a world he never knew existed. Over time, the soulless leader begins to lose himself inside an indestructible body that is no longer his own. Eulogy of the Centurion is the ongoing sermon of an immortal that ironically feels no longer alive and the commemoration of the losses he experiences.

    Review:
The premise of the story was fantastic. I would never have thought . . . about why the soldier stabbed Jesus in the side or what happened to him afterwards. I loved your descriptive use of color and the theory . . . [of] . . . a demon in disguise. You did a beautiful job of describing the relationship between the centurion and his wife.

    Hi Miles.

From your shelf click on the book to open the books detail page. Once there, select the editions tab (which is located in the 4th over, next to the discussion tab.) As you scroll through the editions, you will see the type of edition listed under the title, (i.e. hardback, paperback, kindle).

You can then select which of those editions to display on your shelf. The list of your chosen editions will appear at the top of the list. If you have duplicate editions chosen, you will be given the option to remove one.

I hope my explanation is clear for you. And, please let me know if you have further questions.

    Thanks,

    ~ Tish

Hi Miles! Regarding the duplicate covers you reported for the book A New History of Early Christianity. One is the hardcover edition and the other is the paperback edition. Because we combine all edition of the same content into one book record, both will continue to be displayed.

    Does that explain?

Let me know if you have further questions!

    Thanks,

    ~Tish
