Some of you have expressed interest in being able to post pics of Halloween costumes and such. Well, Katie, Diamondgirl, got the idea of starting up a Yahoo group for the Chiller Shelfari group. We could use it for things like posting possible new avatars that group members could vote on and for voting on monthly authors and such, since that's something we can't really do very easily here on Shelfari. If you're interested in getting an invite to the new Yahoo group, please send Diamondgirl a private note with your e-mail address. Don't worry, the Shelfari group isn't going anywhere, we just figured this would be an easier way to do some more things with the group.

Chiller Sub Genre Game - Every 5 days I will announce what the featured sub genre of horror will be. By noon on the fifth day, I will need everyone participating to send me a personal note with what books they read, the author, and how many pages were read from each book. Any books read that are by the featured months authors will give you double pages for those books. Please indicate if you have already doubled the page amount you have sent me or not. I will keep a running tally of all of the members and the pages they have read. The person with the lowest amount will be eliminated each round, and the winner will receive a prize as yet to be determined. Please do not send in your page counts to "contact the admins" on the front page since one of the admins is participating.Any questions just ask here or send me a note. I will post the first subgenre today at noon CST, and page counts will need to be turned in by noon CST on August 13, 2008.
