I made a mistake with 3 men on a Bummel. I meant to put 3 Men on a Boat (not counting a dog) on my shelf. Now I don't know how to take it off.

No, I did not read anything lately. My friends at school and I were lamenting recently that we don't read anymore. This job is conducive to frustration, apathy, and brain death. Thus, we try to squeeze in a short story or an article on a subway ride to work. I look forward to my summer. If you have anything for me to read, I'll take it when we come over.

Thank you for your friendship. I noticed two more favorites of mine; Kerouac's On the Road, which has affected my writing and Salinger's Glass family which has influenced the way I think about the world.

    Dear Renata W
I really like your shelf. I guess I also find the characters in "female novels" such as those in Jane Austen, and the Bronte Sisters a bit stiff. But overall I usually enjoyed their story telling ability. I don't care too much for Henry James except for the short stories.

I recently liked Belly of the Beast by Linda Merlino. Thanks for your imput.

I have no idea what happened to my Shelfari, because I cannot answer your question whether you should read this book or not. Anyway, you should go for it! Thoreau mixed his "rambling" when living in Walden with such an elegant and poetic parlance.

    Hey Renata,
You asked me if you should read A Thousand Splendid Suns b/c it was on my faviorites list, but I rated it poorly... Truth be told, it was there for a demo I did a little while ago, and I forgot to remove it!
So... I've not read the book. I wanted to let you know, so that it doesn't change your mind on what could be a great book!

Hi, isn't this great? I never speak to you any more. At least I'll know what you're reading. Catch a glimpse of your dark psyche. Olga
