Bonk read like she had a deadline to meet. Stiff was soooo good that it made my disappointment of Bonk even more pronounced. When I finish Cannibals, I'm going to give it to a good friend who is going to the NC beach in a week. His sister-in-law is getting married. I'm thinking he could use some humor.
I am reading it now and he does crack me up. He obviously tagged along with his girlfriend b/c he wanted to find material to write about. But I quickly forgave him for that indiscretion. He appears even handed, shelling out criticism equally on the I-Kiribati and the I-Mantang. I love that he continuously and reluctantly makes “Heart of Darkness” references. This book will redeem you for giving “Edgar Sawtelle” three stars.
No. I have not read it. Why did you think of me when this book crossed your mind? Have you been talking to my boss? Do you have something you need to tell me? I just read the synopsis of the book and I'm getting a little scared.
Hanna read and liked Girl in the Dragon Tatoo then got to see the Swedish movie (w/ English subtitles) while we were in DC. She loved both. What was your take on the book? I noticed only 2 stars.
