“This is the first "political thriller" that I have read. I would have liked it better if it had more emphasis on "thriller"...”

I was going to ask you what you thought about The Other Boleyn Girl when I saw that you were reading it. I am getting through The Queen's Fool by the same author. I think in the end it may have the same review as yours..."historically good...but too graphic." I think I'll pass on Boleyn. Is it at all worth the time? Or, since I've tried the author do you think they are all similar?
I've read the Sarah book you just added. (I had to read it because of the name)I has been several years so I can't remember many details of it, but I do remember liking it. If it is super let me know and I'll have to pull it down for my bookshelf and reread it soon.
Have you read The Giver before? Great book. I often think about how good an apple tastes...and how great it is to see things in color because of that book. Thanks for getting the other two books back. Glad you read and enjoyed them.
I saw the No.1 Ladies Detective Agency Detective series on a "buy on get one 1/2 off" (maybe even the second one was free) down at Barnes and Noble just a few days ago. A good deal when there are so many of the books to get thru...I am planning on picking up Princess Academy and Goose Girl for you in the next few days. I'll try to remember.
Have you made it through Thirteenth Tale? Even if not...the bookclub about it is TODAY-April 17th 7:00 @ Lois's. Come. The more the merrier.
I recommend Princess Academy! It is fun to see what is on your "to-read" list now. Then, also read Goose Girl. Of the two both by the same author, I liked Goose Girl a bit better. (I think I have access to both on my Mom's bookshelves...if you need a copy)
