Water for Elephants was okay. It's about the "darker side" of the circus. Unique, odd, semi-interesting. A few that I have heard are really good are The Red Necklace (I just started it so I'll let you know) and Fallen Leaves. I'll take a minute to rate my books in a few days so you get a better idea of what I liked. :)

I just saw that you are reading "The Hero and the Crown". I love that series and have read it a few times. I can't remember if "The Blue Sword" comes first, though.
I just finished reading Sarah and I really enjoyed it. But I am a big fan of historical fiction. I also have Rachel and Leah from the library, but I think I am going to wait until I can get Rebekah to read next. I kind of like to do things in order.

So far, I like The Host. But then, I like Sci-Fi. I'm only on chapter 9, but it's already reminiscent of the author's YA fiction--you know--Twilight. Gee, if someone GAVE it to you, by all means read it!
I have most of the Gregory books on my shelf if you want to borrow one.
Hey Sarah, I think I would start with the Other Boylen Girl. It kind-of sets the stage for most of the rest her books. It does have a little sexual content but none that I really remember as being too bad. (Everything I've ever read about the English Monarchy has at least some graphic content. They were dirty old birds!) I'm a big fan of historical fiction so let me know what you think. (Of the Gregory book I've read, the only one that I remember being a little racy was The Virgin Queen.)
Tell me about the Book Thief
Oh, sorry Sarah. I didn't give you any time to READ that Kite book yet. Now I see that you're PLANNING on reading it. Me too.
What'd you think of The Kite Runner?
I have read some of the No.1 Ladies Detective Agency, but I had forgotten what the series was called and who wrote it, so thanks for the reminder!
Sorry I missed last night, I didn't get the email until today. Thanks for the recommendations, I would love to borrow those books if I could!
The blue book covers just showed up as a option when I searched for the book. Sorry I'm not any help with that!
Are you getting a puppy?
Just finishing 13th Tale. Like it. Thanks for the recommendation.
