I am a reader, writer, poet, playwright, screenwriter, and general raconteur. I have always been a voracious reader. Back in college and high school I used to read two to three novels a week. In my twenties I read one to two novels a week. Lately, time has only allowed to read one to two a month. I look forward to when I finally retire and can... more »

Hi, I created a new group called Golden Age Pulp Heroes. It looks like you've read a variety of those books. Feel free to join if interested!

    Hi Richard,

Wow, you have read a lot of books. That is quite a varied selection you have on your shelf. I'm like you in that I can never read enough books. I sometimes think I have a bad case of BookLust.

    Anyway, nice to meet you.

    Hi Richard,
Haven't heard from you in awhile and wanted to say hi. How are you? Have you gone to any special screenings in LA? I attended one special screening at the local college of "The Judge and the General". Afterwards there was a Q&A with Elizabeth Farnsworth who is one of the directors of the film (the other is Patricio Lanfranco Leverton). It's a good documentary film. Well, I hope you are well. Take care.

Yes, actually I just finished it up today (I had to take a break from it for a couple of weeks, I had a couple of library books I had to finish first) and I really enjoyed it! Definitely one of McCammon's best. Now I have to read Blue World sometime as well, I have a copy of it around here somewhere.

Lol, I liked your response to my question about "Interview with the Vampire." I know there are fans who are just like that with the Twilight series who will probably kill you if you didn't like the book. Thanks for answering, Talk to you later!

LOL.....geek's good, I am also a geek, so always good to meet another....;-)
We do have quite a few authors in common.
I just picked up Stinger by McCammon today, just happened to find a used paperback for sale at my local library, I had missed that one. I see you had good things to say about it, so looking forward to reading it soon.
