    Thanks, Jak. I think I'm number 30 on the waiting list for Water for Elephants, so it might be a while, but I'm very much looking forward to it.
    I'm glad you're enjoying your read on Mars...I haven't been into any sci-fi lately. It usually doesn't grab me unless it involves a Jedi. :)

    How are you? What are you reading these days? I see that Water for Elephants is one of your favorites. I've been hearing wonderful things about it, so I requested a copy from my library. I'm very excited to delve in, but I'm a little hesitant...how upsetting was the animal cruelty?

    I'm enjoying it...don't quite love it like I did Fried Green Tomatoes. I've heard wonderful things about Water for Elephants; I'm glad you're enjoying it so far. I may have to put that on my "to be read" pile. What books are up next for you?

    Thanks for inviting my friendship!! I see that we share two favorites - The Secret Life of Bees and Into the Wild...those two books spoke to me on so many different levels. What are you reading these days? I'm reading Can't Wait to Get to Heaven by Fannie Flagg (one of my favorite authors).
