Hi! Thanks for checking in. As you can tell, I like books! But let's start with me... I'm in my early 30s and live in Buffalo, NY. I have a boyfriend, Chris, and we live together with our cat, Pooka. I work in the financial world in market research. I consider myself a sponge for learning and like nothing more than meeting new people and hearing all about them and what makes them who they are.

I like books because they allow me to escape. I enjoy historical fiction, non-fiction, literature and I'd really like to read more poetry. In terms of topics, WW2 has always interested me because my grandfather and 2 uncles served. I also like to read about any historical event, particularly politically or government related. I love psychology, so any non-fiction books, memoires or auto-biographies are always interesting. In general, I like to learn about people and why they do the things they do.

I respect that everyone has different tastes, but that the books on your shelf may not necessarily define who you are. As for me, I've got a pretty diverse shelf, with some books having more impact on me than others. But at the end of the day, I love to read just like you do!
